Sushant Singh Rajput, a Bollywood star, committed suicide Sunday, police said. The star, who is 34, was found hanging in his Mumbai house on Sunday.
After playing the lead role in movies like “Kai Po Che” and “M.S. Dhoni: The Secret Tale” Rajput had shot to fame. His film “Dil Bechara” was due to be released on May 8, but was postponed due to the lockdown induced by coronavirus. Rajput’s last major screen release was “Chichhore” by Rajkumar Hirani.
His manager, Disha Salian, 28, ended her life on June 9 by jumping from a high rise apartment.
